Job Posting: Active Transportation Program Assistant

The City Heights Community Development Corporation, one of BikeSD’s strong member organizations, is hiring an Active Transportation Program Assistant. This part time position is based in City Heights.

City Heights is the most walking, biking, transit-dependent community in San Diego, yet the infrastructure to make these modes safe and comfortable does not exist, and transit fares, relative to average household income, are unaffordable. CHCDC is seeking to conduct community outreach, research, and advocacy that relate to mobility modes in City Heights.

Under the supervision of the Active Transportation Manager, the Program Assistant assumes responsibility for assisting in day-to-day operational management of all activities and functions in the following areas: conducting community outreach, working with diverse stakeholders, researching issues related to walking, biking and transit.
