A weekend filled with bicycling fun

If you have no plans for the week, well you’re in luck. If you do have plans, cancel them all as this weekend’s activities are not to be missed.

  • Tonight at 6pm – Paseo de Todos. Meet at Mission Brewery for departure to Tijuana at 6pm where we will join our friends and neighbors in Tijuana for a casual ride starting at 8pm through Tijuana’s lively neighborhoods and commercial districts. For more about the ride including raves, check out this thread on the local bike forum.
  • Tomorrow’s festivities celebrate the letter ‘B’ where everyone will be Biking the Boulevard with Ms. Boulevard, Beryl. The events begins at noon at Livewire. Here are some photos from an earlier Bike the Boulevard.
  • Later on, San Diego continues to celebrate the letter ‘B’ and coffee with the Black Coffee Ride where participants will visit independently owned coffee haunts around the urban core communities in San Diego. The ride begins at Lestat’s on Adams Avenue at 7pm.
  • The weekend will end on a high note with the 4th Annual San Diego Tweed Ride.The main organizer, Hans Wangbichler invited the new mayor to join in on the fun which includes Greg Watson playing Ragtime on a piano at the Ward Canyon Neighborhood Park. The event begins at noon at the Ward Canyon Neighborhood Park. Here are some photos from last year’s event.
