This Friday: Women’s Bike Maintenance Clinic at Brooklyn Bicycles

Women’s Bike Maintenance Classes are held around the country and teach valuable skills in basic bike maintenance tasks. Image above is from a maintenance class in Boston.

Jessica Stephens is organizing another set of Women’s Bike Maintenance Classes. The details are as follows:

Women’s Bike Maintenance Class
When: Friday, August 31
Time: 7pm – 9pm
Cost: $20
Where: Brooklyn Bikes – 3437 Adams Ave, San Diego, CA.

Stephens’ email stated,

Please feel free to ride your bicycle to the class but we will be learning with bikes provided. If you have a flat tire please bring it with you and we’ll fix it in the class! The class is $20 a person and the shops hosting the classes are offering a 10% discount on product to everyone who attends. There is a lesson plan and a ton of information ready to be passed on so bring a pen and questions that you have! Classes run around 2 to 2 1/2 hours depending on the class size and questions asked.

Follow the class schedule on Facebook by liking “Ride it, Fix it“. You can signup to join the classes there. If you are planning on attending please either email me [messyjessiesbikes AT gmail.com] back or join the events posted through Facebook so I can plan for an appropriate class size!

If you can’t make the class on Friday the next class will be held at ITSA bike shop on September 10th at 6pm!

Thanks for your interest.
