SDSU’s Active Transportation Research Team Seeks Volunteers to Help Validate Bicycle Data Counts

As Dr. Sherry Ryan recently told us, San Diego is currently conducting continuous daily bicycle and pedestrian counts in 26 locations across the San Diego region via automated count equipment.  According to Dr. Ryan, this is the largest network of automated counters in any region in the nation. However to ensure that the data being collected is accurate, volunteers are needed to help validate  the accuracy of the automated counting equipment. For those among you who would love to volunteer to help our our advocacy efforts. Please fill out the form below* to indicate your availability.

Below is a flier with the map detailing where the meetup points will be.

* Your contact information will be shared with SDSU’s Active Transportation researchers and will be kept in our files so that we can contact you for future volunteer opportunities.
