Bike Valet Parking – The Cure to Solving the City’s Parking Woes

Late last week, the Farmers Insurance PGA Tournament created massive traffic woes and congestion for everyone who decided to drive in order to take part in the pleasures of being a spectator of a golf tournament. However the organizers also decided to provide another option to anyone who wanted to avoid the hassle and expense of automobile parking by offering bike valet parking provided by the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition.

Robert Leone, SDCBC Board Member, volunteer extraordinaire, and photographer took photographs documenting the bike valet service that was provided to the PGA Tournament community. The service was free to riders and the organizers of the PGA Tournament donated $10 to the SDCBC for every bicycle parked – a fantastic deal for everyone.
