August 19, 2014 (tonight)
- 5:45 PM – Ride in Support of Juan Carlos Viñolo. Mayor Kevin Faulconer has confirmed will be riding with the group. Perhaps he will speak for the need of changing our street network so that this one tragedy doesn’t obscure the everyday tragedies on our streets and the need to increase enforcement of egregious and dangerous driving. To help our the Viñolo family, please consider donating.
- 6:30 PM – Races at the Velodrome. Show up to ride, cheer and participate. We send our good wishes to Jo Kelso for a speedy recovery after her injury last week.
- 6:30 PM – North Park Planning Group Meeting at the North Park Christian Fellowship Church, 2nd floor. If you live, work, or own property in North Park, you should consider attending.

- Beer Con – San Diego’s Craft Beer Conference. Beer Con is a generous support of our work and we will be there to speak about our work, our success and our goals.

- Pedal, Pick & Grin – Join us to celebrate the wonderful annual event that celebrates summer’s bounty that comes from good stewardship of our land. Join us for a ride down to Suzie’s Farm. Bring the kids. It’s family friendly and a lot of fun. Meet at 3416 Adams Ave, San Diego, CA 92116 at 10 AM. Ride to Suzie’s Farm will take 1.5 hours. The ride back will happen at approximately 2PM. Bring panniers or other bags to carry home farm produce and fruits. Panniers are strongly recommended.

- 8:00 AM – MJ Cyclery Coffee Shop Ride – Meet at MJ Cyclery for a casual ride with a stop for coffee.
The San Diego Mountain Biking Association is advocating for a Bike Skills Park at Mission Trails. Sign their petition to support their advocacy and keep up to date on the progress.
